Elm House is where Kerrie Myers' ancestors lived. The proprietor mentioned in these advertisements  is Lilly Alexander PEAKE  nee GILBERT, youngest daughter of  George GILBERT and Blanche Stevens nee FRIGGENS.  George and  Blanche had four daughters Blanch Friggens, Mary Ellen, Catherine Job (Kerrie's great-grandmother) and Lilly.  It is believed that after his wife Blanche's death, George GILBERT went to Leicestershire with three of his daughters and left Lilly with her Grandmother Blanche FRIGGENS (nee STEVENS) in Elm House.  The family in Leicestershire holidayed at Elm House every year.  The advertisements are dated 1910 and 1918 respectively.
